Year 5 pupils from Ton-Yr-Ywen Primary School in Heath have enjoyed a unique opportunity to witness the exciting process of construction through site visits to two of Cardiff's largest school development projects - Cantonian High School at Fairwater Community Campus and the new Willows High School.

14/03/25 - Vibrant buildings delivering the best possible services

More than two million visits were made to Cardiff hubs and libraries last year, a new strategy for the city’s ‘one-stop-shop’ facilities reveals.

Almost 16,000 new members joined the city’s library service, 1.9m book loans were issued, more than 78,000 new books were bought and 175,000 children and adults attended events in hubs and libraries in 2023/24.

17/03/25 - Neurodivergent friendly resources at hubs and libraries

A set of sensory resources to help make Cardiff Council hubs and libraries more accessible for customers during their visit are now available in facilities across the city.

As part of the Council’s work to make Cardiff a more neurodivergent-friendly city, the new set of resources have been collated to ensure that people with sensory needs have a better experience of accessing the facilities and services at hubs and libraries across the city.
