Here is the latest update from Cardiff Council, covering: vaccination totals for Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan; and Cardiff's COVID-19 case and test numbers.

 

Cardiff & Vale University Health Board Vaccination Status Update - 28 April

The total number of vaccination doses given by the Cardiff & Vale University Health Board so far, in both local authority areas:  375,248 (1stDose: 276,237 2ndDose: 98,990)

 

  • 80 and over: 21,115 / 94% (1stDose) 18,161 / 80.8% (2ndDose)
  • 75-79: 15,069 / 95.6% (1stDose) 11,250 / 71.3% (2ndDose)
  • 70-74: 21,400 / 95% (1stDose) 18,211 / 80.8% (2ndDose)
  • 65-69: 21,459 / 92% (1stDose) 5,523 / 23.7% (2ndDose)
  • 60-64: 25,688 / 91.1% (1stDose) 9,303 / 33% (2ndDose)
  • 55-59: 28,862 / 88.8% (1stDose) 6,008 / 18.5% (2ndDose)
  • 50-54: 28,249 / 85.8% (1stDose) 5,441 / 16.5% (2ndDose)

  • Care home residents: 2,030 / 97.7% (1stDose) 1,862 / 89.6% (2ndDose)
  • Clinically extremely vulnerable: 11,189 / 92.2% (1stDose) 9,229 / 76.1% (2ndDose)
  • Underlying Health Conditions: 43,493 / 86.5% (1stDose) 3,655 / 7.3%(2ndDose)
