Cases per 100,000 population: 432.0 (Wales: 380.0 cases per 100,000 population)

Testing episodes: 8,890

Testing per 100,000 population: 2,423.0

Positive proportion: 17.8% (Wales: 17.7% positive proportion)

Update on schools affected by COVID-19: 10.12.20

Pen-Y-Bryn Primary School
Two positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Pen-Y-Bryn Primary School. 2 pupils from Year 6 and 1 member of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate after they were identified as a close contacts of the confirmed case.

Corpus Christi High School
Four positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Corpus Christi High School. 233 pupils from Year 11 and 5 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate after they were identified as a close contacts of the confirmed cases.

Cantonian High School
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed atCantonian High School today. 147 Year 10 pupils and 1 member of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate after they were identified as a close contacts of the confirmed case.

 

Coed Glas Primary School

Two positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Coed Glas Primary School. 86 pupils from Nursery and Year 2 and 2 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.  

Trelai Primary School
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed atTrelai Primary School. 110 pupils from Years 5 and 6 and 8 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.

Pentyrch Primary School
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed atPentyrch Primary School. 30 pupils from Year 2 and 4 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.  

Birchgrove Primary School
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed atBirchgrove Primary School. 26 pupils from Year 2 and 1 member of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate after they were identified as a close contacts of the confirmed case.

Cardiff High School.
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Cardiff High School. Three members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate after they were identified as a close contacts of the confirmed case.

Ysgol Glan Ceubal Immersion Unit
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed atYsgol Glan Ceubal Immersion Unit. 15 Year 7 pupils have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 10 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.  
 

Eastern High school

A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Eastern High School. 35 pupils from Year 7 have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.  
 

Cardiff West Community High School

A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Cardiff West Community High School. 96 Year pupils have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 10 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.  
 

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr

A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr. 30 pupils from Year 7 have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.
