Based on latest figures from Public Health Wales, data correct as of:

Cases: 627

Cases per 100,000 population: 170.9 (Wales: 189.4 cases per 100,000 population)

Testing episodes: 5,203

Testing per 100,000 population: 1,418.1

Positive proportion: 12.1% (Wales: 12.2% positive proportion)

Update on schools affected by COVID-19: 26.11.20

 

Ysgol Bro Edern

A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Ysgol Bro Edern. 41 pupils from Year 10 have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case. No members of staff need to isolate due to social distancing measures in place.

 

Willows High School

A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Willows High School. 28 pupils from Year 7 have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.  No members of staff need to isolate due to social distancing measures in place.
 

Lakeside Primary School

Due to staff affected by COVID-19, 60 pupils from Nursery are currently absent from school.

 

St Pauls CW Primary School

A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at St Pauls CW Primary School. 32 pupils from Year 5 and 3 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.   

 

St Joseph's RC Primary School

A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at St Joseph's RC Primary School. 25 pupils from Reception and 2 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.   

 

Albany Primary School

A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Albany Primary School. 16 pupils from Nursery and 5 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.   

 

St Fagans Primary School

A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at St Fagans Primary School. 26 pupils from Year 3 and 3 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.   

 

Cathays High School

Two positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Cathays High School.  27 pupils from Years 8 and 11 and 1 member of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.   

 

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf

Two positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf. 15 pupils from Years 8 and 9 have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.
