Update on schools affected by COVID-19: 18.11.20
The Hollies Special School
Two positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at The Hollies Special School. 14 pupils and 7 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.
Ninian Park Primary School
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Ninian Park Primary school. 28 PUPILS FROM Year 5 and 2 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.
Cardiff West Community High School
A number of staff are absent from school due to COVID-19 related matters. Following a risk assessment undertaken and supported by school's Governing Body, Year 8 will be educated via a distance learning approach for the remainder of this week. This does not affect the pupils in the special needs resource base.
