Glan Yr Afon Primary School
A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Glan Yr Afon Primary School. 28 pupils and 3 members of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case.
St Monica's CW Primary School
Due to the number of positive cases of COVID-19 that have now been confirmed at St Monica's CW Primary School, a significant number of staff have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 cases.
This has presented staffing implications and the school will remain closed for the week following half-term and will re-open to pupils and staff on Monday 9, November.
Whitchurch High School
Two positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Whitchurch High School. 88 Year 11 pupils have been advised by Public Health Wales to self-isolate for 14 days after they were identified as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 case. No staff are affected due to social distancing measures in place.
