The annual survey that gives people living and working in Cardiff the chance to tell the Council their views on public services in the city launches next week.

Every year, the Ask Cardiff survey collects people's opinions about the city and its services to help the Council better understand how it's performing and if anything can be improved.

Ask Cardiff 2019 covers a range of topics including the quality of services in the city, how satisfied people are with their community as a place to live, their views on jobs, the economy and the local environment as well as community safety.

Cabinet Member for Finance, Modernisation and Performance, Cllr Chris Weaver, said: "The Council carries out many consultations throughout the year on a variety of issues but Ask Cardiff is the annual opportunity for people who work, live or visit Cardiff to tell us what they think of the city and services, overall. It's our annual barometer of public opinion and the information gathered gives us an invaluable insight into how our customers feel we're performing.

"It's important that we hear from a wide range of people from right across the city. We had a very good response to the survey last year and we hope people will use this opportunity to tell us what they think once again so we can use their views to shape the way services are delivered in Cardiff."

The Ask Cardiff survey opens on Monday, September 16 and closes on Sunday, November 24. It takes around 10 minutes to complete and can be completed online atwww.cardiff.gov.uk/askcardiff2019Paper copies are also available at hubs and libraries across the city where you can also drop off your completed surveys.

Respondents to the survey also have the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to Lewis Capaldi's sold-out concert at the Motorpoint Arena in March 2020, £30 Love2Shop vouchers and  £20 Love2Shop vouchers.
