Sparks in the Park will be taking place at Blackweir Field this year

The new location will mean those attending the event should allow an additional 15 or 20 minutes to get to the venue if they are walking from the city centre.

Bute Park will close to the public at 3.00pm on Saturday November 4th, an hour earlier than usual. It will open at the usual time on Sunday November 5th.

Gates will open to ticket holders on Saturday at 4.30pm, the children’s display will start at 5.45pm and the main display starts at 7.00pm.

The entrance and exit to the event will be via the Millennium Bridge from Sophia Gardens or the Bute Park vehicle access bridge, which is located opposite Corbett Road off North Road. An interactive visitor map of Bute Park is available at www.bute-park.com

Queuing systems, ticket and bag checks will be in operation at both entrances to the park.
