Find you Fun Palace with Cardiff Story Museum

This free event invites members of the public to drop in from 10am until 3pm and take part in a host of art, craft and science activities. Events include medieval style crafts, be an archaeologist for the day, learn about bugs and insects and how to identify various species and explore the history of the Iron Age.

Partners helping to deliver activities include Arts in Caerau and Ely, Cardiff Library service and the Goldies group based at Rhydypennau Library.

Victoria Rogers, Museum Manager said, "This is the first Fun Palace that we've done, and it's the only one in Cardiff this year. The great thing about fun palace activities is that they are led by volunteers in the community. It's all about us all sharing those skills and hidden talents we have!"

Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, Cllr Peter Bradbury said: "Cardiff Story Museum provides a diverse range of family events. Fun Palaces will provide lots of free activities, teaching children and adults about a range of topics in a fun and relaxed environment."
